On 10th February , 1931 , the petition was rejected by the Privy Council . 10 फरवरी 1930 को प्रिवी काउंसिल द्वारा यह अर्जी नामंजूर कर दी गयी .

He gave the opinion that it would be difficult to get any relief in the Privy Council . उन्होंने यह राय दी कि प्रिवी काउंसिल में किसी राहत की उम्मीद करना व्यर्थ होगा .

However , Roy was of the opinion that as far as India was concerned , the situation would be hardly affected by an adverse decision of the Privy Council , whereas a favourable verdict would be advantageous . बहरहाल , राय का मानना था कि जहां तक भारत का सवाल है , प्रिवी काउंसिल के प्रतिकूल निर्णय से स्थिति में कोई बदलाव नहीं आयेगा , जबकि एक अनुकूल निर्णय काफी लाभदायक होगा .

These were declared to be Courts of Record from whose decisions an appeal lay to the Governor and Council and in important cases a further appeal to the Privy Council in the United Kingdom . इन्हें अभिलेख न्यायालय घोषित किया गया ऋनके निर्णयों की अपील गवर्नर और परिषद को की जा सकती थी.महत्वपूर्ण मामलों में आगे इंग्लैंड में प्रिवी काउंसिल में अपील की जा सकती थी .
